The adjusted lock date feature allows you to include past due payment schedule dates into agreement and addendum updates.
For example, if a parent has an overdue amount that is dated July 1, 2022 and you update their agreement with an addendum on August 1, 2022, you will need to use the Adjusted Lock Date feature to make sure that the 7/1 payment date is included with those changes. The system will automatically ignore past due dates when you make edits agreements/addendums to allow you the option of limiting edits to only future due dates. Use the Adjusted Lock Date feature to include any past due dates as well as future due dates
- Go to Leads Agreements > Edit lead agreement.
PRO TIP! Use the filters to help you narrow your search.
- From the Edit Agreement/Addendum screen, start by making the necessary edits to the agreement/addendum. Make sure to save your edits when you are done.
- Click the Adjusted Lock Date field and select a date prior to the due dates in the schedule that you would like to affect with your edit.
In the below example, to affect dates prior to 7/1/2022 you will need to change the Adjusted Lock Date to any date 6/30/2022 or prior.
Once you have adjusted the lock date make sure to save your changes. You can then either auto sign the agreement or let the parents know to sign their agreement/addendum.
