By doing the refund first, you are avoiding creating multiple addendums because in this specific case, if refunds were applied after the addendum, those refunds would alter what was owed on that agreement and would then need an additional addendum to account for those refunds. - Go to Leads > search for and edit the lead.
- Edit the agreement.
- STOP! Your first step should always be to take the account off of automatic payments. This is extremely important to make sure that no future payments can be taken in the event that you make a mistake or an update is made that might cause this family to be charged.
- Click Add addendum.
- Remove all line items that no longer apply to this agreement. This could include fees or tuition insurance that may no longer need to be paid.
Select the line item and click Remove. Repeat this step for all line items including the deposit.
Click Save when you are done.
PRO TIP! All removed line items will be shown with a strikethrough. - Click Auto Sign when you are done. If you do not need to apply a credit memo, you are done!

IMPORTANT! You also have the option to have the parents sign the final addendum if you would like. Many schools will opt to Auto Sign instead.
