In the past, we have noticed Chrome (Google) made an update to its auto-filling software called Smart Lock that is causing all/most of the input fields to prefill with information on some websites, including BigSIS. Recently, we have also seen that Chrome is trying to be helpful and when it think a username and password needs to be saved a pop-up window appears asking you if you want to save the password. Should the save this password window pop-up, select never and for both situations follow the instructions below that will give you a temporary solution to disable Smart Lock on the BigSIS website.
The setting that is causing this issue is something called "Smart Lock" and is a feature Chrome offers to help pre-fill usernames/passwords for websites. We recommend that you turn this option off for BigSIS to make sure this doesn't get in your way. We have some quick instructions on how to get this completed for just BigSIS and also some instructions on how to locate this setting in Chrome if you want to review the setting.
- The easiest way to make autofill go away is to log out of BigSIS and return to the login screen. You should see a Key Symbol
in the upper-right corner of the browser window. Click the Key Symbol and then click the Trash Can icon and it will stop the username and password from populating in open fields. To prevent this from happening again later, remember to reject Chrome’s suggestion to save a password for BigSIS if prompted again.
- If that doesn't work, you can click on the following link: https://passwords.google.com which will either take you to the page where this setting lives or will prompt you to log into google so it can take you to this setting. Here is also a link to the help doc that google has on how to adjust this setting: https://my.bigs.is/2k68Cp8. Again, also remember that if Chrome ever prompts you again to save your password for BigSIS, please reject their request or this issue may return.

Thank you. This issue has been making me crazy! I was able to resolve by removing the passwords on the passwords.google.com link.
