There are a few reasons why a student might not show up on the report or a transcript so let's start with the most common and go from there.
1. An Assessment was not given
When we say "assessment," we aren't referring to the narrative because the narrative is optional. We're referring to the overall assessment the student received for the course. An assessment could simply be "complete" or it could be a letter grade/percentage. You choose your Assessment Types.
The Fix: You can check for missing assessments by using the Registration Cleanup Tool.

2. An Assessment was given, however the "Show on Report" checkbox is unchecked in course settings
The Fix: Go to the Courses Table, locate the course that isn't appearing and double-click it. Once on the Edit Course page, scroll down to the Course Registration Options for Transcripts fieldset and click it to expand the options. Make sure the Show on Report checkbox is checked as well as the Show on Transcript checkbox if your school generates transcripts. If you want to apply this change to all registrations in the course, click the Reconcile Registrations button, but please read the disclaimer first.
Note: If you aren't a school that generates transcripts, just ignore the Show on Transcript checkbox. It'll be checked by default and that fine, it only matters for schools (mostly high schools) that generate transcripts.
3. The Assessment was given, and the course setting are set to "show on report" and/or "show on transcript," however a student's assessment itself is set to not show on reports and/or transcripts.
The Fix: You can control whether or not an assessment will show on a report or transcript on at the course level, but you can also do it at the assessment level—meaning you can make it so that only some student's assessments won't be visible on reports or transcripts, but others will. Editing the student's registration will solve this problem. Go to the student's Registration Record for the missing course and edit the options there.
4. The student is simply not registered for the course
The Fix: It happens sometimes, we think a student was registered for a course this entire time only to realize they never got put into that course for some reason. In this scenario, you just have to register the student for the course and complete their assessment.
