Announcing New "Value Received" Option for Donations
We have added the ability to add 'Value Received' to donations. The new Value Received fields can be found by editing a donation (after it has been entered into BigSIS) and clicking on the new option titled 'Value Received':
These new fields allow you to enter the portion of a donation that is not tax deductible, typically the goods or services received by the donor in exchange for the donation. For example, if as a result of the donation, a donor receives a t-shirt or a meal, then the value of that good/service is not tax-deductible. This value is known as the 'value received.' In the United States, by law, a donor is only permitted to claim the tax-deductible amount of their donations on their tax returns (i.e., the total amount of the donation minus the value received).

You can now set up vaccinations to require a certain number of doses, filter for children missing a dose, and export vaccinations with notes and custom health data. Also, if a child is missing vaccines, you can email their guardians directly from the Vaccination Check tool. Find this tool under Students > Other > Vaccination Check.
