To insert an image into an HTML textbox in BigSIS you need the Public Link if you are storing the image in BigSIS or the url for the image if you are storing it outside of BigSIS. PRO TIP! HTML textbox is just a fancy way of saying the textbox you can type into for emails, portal snippets, custom form widgets, and more. And, that means you can use HTML if you really want to!)
To get the image link you can store images in the Public Documents section of BigSIS. Click here to learn more about Adding Documents to your Document Centers.
PRO TIP! If you are using a link that is stored outside of BigSIS skip to #3!
- When using links from your Public Documents go to Miscellaneous > Document Center > Public Documents. Select and edit your document.
- To insert the image into an HTML textbox, copy the Public Link.
(Right-click and open image in new tab to enlarge) - Now it is time to copy that link into your template. Go to the email template or other template you are using and place your cursor where you would like your image, click Insert > Insert image. Or, click on the image icon.
(Right-click and open image in new tab to enlarge) - Paste the link into the Source field. The dimensions will pre-fill based on the saved image size you may adjust that as you see fit. Click Ok when you are done.
PRO TIP! Making the image larger in size will make it look more pixelated and will not be ideal. It is recommend you save a larger image if that is your goal. - Your image will now be in the HTML textbox and you are done!
PRO TIP! If you highlight the image you can use the size the image very easily!
