In BigSIS adding a program to an Academic Year isn't something you should need to do very often. We typically will have you follow the steps for our Checklist for Rolling Over an Academic Year and this will help to take care of all the steps for getting your Academic Year rolled over and setup. Every so often, though, if you need to add a new program to BigSIS you may need to take these quick steps to add your new program to your current or future Academic Years you have created. Here are the quick instructions to get a program added to an Academic Year. If you first need to learn how to add a program to BigSIS click here: How to Add a New Program
Click the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to add programs to your Academic Year and Lead Enrollment Configuration.
- Go to Students > Other > Academic Years. Double click on an Academic Year to edit it.
- Scroll down to Terms and select a term to edit (remember you can double click on the term to edit it!). NOTE: Some schools may have more than one term depending on how you are setup. You will need to select the correct term to add this program too.
- Scroll down to Programs in this Term and click New.
- Select the program from the Program drop-down menu (you may type the program title in this menu to more easily locate it!). Click Save and Add Another if you need to add more than one or click Save and Back when you are done!
PRO TIP! If you use the BigSIS Admissions/Leads module you will also need to add this program to your Lead Enrollment Configuration for the current and future configurations. Follow these steps for Customizing a Lead Enrollment Configuration
