Exporting data to Excel or CSV works the same no matter what table you're exporting from. Sometimes there is a stand-alone Export button, but it's often in an Other Actions menu button. This article will show screenshots of a few different places where exporting is available.
Important note about datasources: when exporting you will often have more than one datasource to select from. A datasource simply means the data you can include in the export. For example, the People table has several datasources to choose from so that you can include just the data you need. Sometimes you might want very basic information about a person and other times you might want very detailed information. Or, maybe you want information that is about a household and everyone that lives there. These are just examples of exports you might do but the takeaway is that each table will have its own selection of datasources. See examples below for a visual of this.
