After you build a Multi-Page Form you will want to send it to portals to be filled out and submitted. These forms get sent to portals by sending a Request for Information (RFI).

For Enrollment table MPF's:
- Go to Students > Enrollments or click on Enrollment Management from the dashboard.
- Filter for and select the records that you want to send the form to.
- Click Other Actions > Request Info (Alert Guardian) about Enrollment (used to send a form to parents) OR Request Info (Alert Student) about Enrollment (used to send a form to students).
- From the Request Information screen select if you want to send to an existing batch or create a new batch.
PRO TIP! We recommend that you create new request batches for each different RFI you are sending. Meaning if you are sending a back to school form to parents, you will want to create a request batch based on who you are sending it to. For example, “2018-2019 High School Back to School Forms.” This will allow you filter for just the submissions for that batch, and you will know the year it relates to AND the people who would have received it. In some cases, schools like to get even more granular, but this is your preference. For example, “2018-2019 Back to School Forms – 9th Grade” or “2017-2018 10th Grade Back to School Forms.” This second option will allow you to narrow down your filtering even more specifically by grade level. - When creating a New Request Batch.

- Select New Request Batch.
- Choose the Multi-Page Form for Request to use.
This drop-down menu will show you all the MPF’s you have created for the table you are sending the RFI from. - Add a Title for this information request form in the BigSIS Admin.
This is the title that will appear only on your admin. - Add a Title for this information request form when shown in the BigSIS portal.
This is the title that users filling out the RFI in the portal will see. - Select a Due date for this information request (Optional).
- If you do not want to send an email alert to these users, but just send the RFI, you may click on Create New Request Batch.
- If you want to add an email to the recipients you may type the body of your email into the email text field.
PRO TIP! If you want to use an email template, complete the request batch and this will send you back to the Enrollments table where you can click Communicate > Email Parents (or email students) and this will allow you to use an email template of your choosing. - That completes sending the form! For People table MPF's:
- Go to People > People or click on People from the dashboard.
- Filter for and select the records that you want to send the form to.
- Click Other Actions > Request Info about Person: Alert Person OR Request Info about Person: Alert Guardians.
- From the Request Information screen select if you want to send to an existing batch or create a new batch.

Using an Existing Request Batch
If you are using an existing request batch you will follow the same steps regardless of which table, People or Enrollment, you are sending your RFI from.
- Start by following steps 1-4 from the appropriate instructions above
- Select the Existing Request Batch option
- Choose the desired request batch from the Existing portal request batch drop-down menu
- This will add all new users to the request batch. You will be notified of which users will be added to this batch in the These will be added AND alerted section and any users that have been selected that were already part of the request batch will be shown in the These are already part of the batch section.
