Introduction to the Teacher Portal

This article will help introduce the teacher portal to your faculty. This article is an overview and may include tabs that not all schools are using. Administrators, click here for more information on Portal Setup. 

From the Portal:

My Account

1. Before you start to explore your teacher tab take a minute to go to the My Account tab. This is where you can update your own information. This includes updating your (2) password, (3) attaching single sign-on (SSO), or (4) editing your personal information (Address, Email Address, and Phone Numbers).

   1. To edit your personal information hover over the address, email, or phone number. Click the Blue button to edit that information, the Red button to delete it, or the Green button to make it your default information.
   2. Click the Add Address, Add Email Address, or Add Phone Number option to add the new information.

The Teacher Tab

1. Once you have logged in click on the Teachers tab. This is where you should go for all the things you need to do as a teacher.

2. On the left, you will see a list of tabs that your school has made active for teachers.
   
   This may include:
   1. Current Courses - your current list of courses for the current school year

   2. Past Courses - courses form previous school years (you will be able to access your list of students and reports you have written)

   3. School Directory - an alphabetized directory of students, guardians, and teachers

   4. Student List - a per program list of students that also acts like a directory

   5. Student List By Parent Program - a per program list of students by their parent program

   6. Employee Directory - an alphabetized list of current employees

   7. Resource Calendar - a calendar that will link to resources tied to your schools BigSIS event calendar
