Sometimes you, as an admin, need to enter a donation into BigSIS internally. Here are quick instructions on entering donations internally.
- Go to Donations > New Donation.
- Start typing the name of the Person or Company who is the Hard Donor for this donation and select a Donor Profile. Proceed through the form and fill out any fields that may need editing (Campaign, Fund, Appeal, Custom Fields, Notes, etc.).
(Right-click to "Open image in new tab" to enlarge) - Once you get to the payment section of the form, select the proper Type of Donation (One-time Gift, Pledge, Ongoing Gift, or In Kind Gift).
Choose the proper type of Payment & Installment Options (Pay in full now, Pay in full on a future date, Log a past gift, Pledge (each installment processed automatically), or Pledge (each installment logged manually)).
(Right-click to "Open image in new tab" to enlarge) - Finally, enter the Payment Information (Credit Card, eCheck/ACH, or Other) and click the blue "Save Donation" button.
