"Help us Cover Costs" is an option you can add to the "Review and Complete" page of MPF's (applications, contracts, People or Enrollment MPF's). This option allows portal users to opt-in to help you with credit card fees. Many schools won't be able to charge credit card fees to their parents based on state law, or the school may choose to absorb those costs. In either case, you can use the "Help us Cover Costs" option to let parents donate towards those fees.
When you make this option available you can customize the percent someone can opt-in to donate and you can edit the message they see ("Template for Help Us Cover Costs Text on Multi Page Form Checkout"). Follow these quick instructions to edit the template and the percent someone can opt-in to.
- Go to System > Settings > Client Settings > Multi Page Forms
Right-click and select "Open image in new tab" to enlarge - Click on the Template for Help Us Cover Costs Text on Multi Page Form Checkout drop-down list to select from your different templates. Or, click the blue + button to add a new template or the green edit button to edit your selected template.
