The following instructions help with how to copy a lead record. You may copy a lead record for several reasons. One example would be, if a family inquired but decided not to complete the admissions process and then touched base with the school later to inquire about a future school year you could help by copying the lead. This allows you to keep the original lead record for reporting purposes and create a copy of the lead to copy over information including tasks, inquiry information, application, contract, or emails. Follow these steps to copy a lead. NOTE: you can use these same steps on either the Leads or Re-enrollment Leads tables.
- Go to Admissions/Leads > Leads OR Re-enrollment Leads
- Select the lead in question and click Copy.

- This will take you to the Copy Lead screen where you will be able to update the Academic Year and Program. You will also be able to copy over Tasks, Inquiry, Application, Contract, Emails. Click Copy when you are ready and the system will complete your copy and will provide a success message when complete.
- The last step is to edit the Firstname of the lead. You will notice that "Copy" is added to the Firstname field to help easily identify this lead upon creation of the copy. Take a moment to edit the Firstname and you will be done copying your lead!
