If you need to remove one or more signatures or signatories from a contract you can use the below steps. You might need to remove signatures or signatories for a variety of reasons so here are a few things to consider.
- If you remove a signature this means this person has already signed the official contract and is a Responsible Person for the contract. Removing this signature will reset the contract making all copies unofficial, remove the Responsible Person, and clear all Signatures and Dates so everyone has to re-sign.
- If a contract has NOT been completed removing signatories is something you may do freely.
- If you are a tuition management school you may not remove signatures for completed contracts and must delete the invoice first.
- If you find yourself here because you need to remove a signature(s) so you can delete a contract you can skip to the Removing a Signature from a Contract section.
NOTE: You may remove signatures from the Edit Contract screen so you have a few options of where you can start this step. Remember that a contract can be edited from the Leads, Re-enrollment Leads, or the Submitted/Pending Contracts Table so you have the option to choose your preferred table.
Removing a Signatory from a Contract That is not Completed
- Go to either the Leads, Re-enrollment Leads, or the Submitted/Pending Contracts Table and edit the contract you are working with. TIP: on the Leads or Re-enrollment leads tab click the purple icon to edit your contract.
- Click on the Required Signatures and select the person(s) you would like to remove.
- This will take you to a confirmation screen. Click Ok to complete removing the signatory taking note of the message.
- You may now remove other signatories if necessary.
Removing a Signature from a Contract
- Go to either the Leads, Re-enrollment Leads, or the Submitted/Pending Contracts Table and edit the contract you are working with. TIP: on the Leads or Re-enrollment leads tab click the purple icon to edit your contract.
- Click on the Required Signatures and select the person(s) you would like to remove.
- This will take you to a confirmation screen. Click Ok to complete removing the signature taking note of the message.
- You may now remove other signatories if needed.
