Sometimes you might realize that you are getting two copies of an assessment report for the same child and can't figure out why. This most likely has to do with an assessment report option called In-House Copy that will provide one copy of the report for each household a student is tied to. For example, if a student is part of a split household and is tied to two addresses this option would return two copies of the report for the student; one for each household they are tied to.
This can be very useful if you are downloading and sending your reports to parents but make sure to uncheck this option when it is not needed.
PRO TIP! This option does NOT affect publishing reports to the portal. Publishing reports will provide one report per parent/guardian regardless of the addresses they live at.
From the Assessment Report screen...
- The In-House Copy option is at the very bottom so scroll until you get to the Output Options. PRO TIP! Hover over the help bubble for more details on this option!
- Check In-House Copy to make sure you get only one copy per student.
PRO TIP! You may want to update an existing template or save a new one with this report option applied!
