These steps will help you add an Evaluation Matrix to a course that you have already generated. To learn more about adding an Evaluation Matrix to a course template click here.
You have two options for adding a matrix to a course. The first is to go to the course and add the matrix. The other option is to go directly to the matrix and select the course that it should be tied to. Both of these options work well but going to the matrix can be MUCH quicker if you need to add a matrix to several courses because this option lets you select from a list of courses to add the matrix to.
Adding an Evaluation Matrix on the Courses Table
- Go to Courses > Courses. Edit the course you need to add the matrix to.

(Right-click and "Open image in new tab" to enlarge) - Scroll down to the Evaluation Matrixes tab. Click New to add a new matrix.
- Select the desired matrix from the Evaluation Matrix drop-down menu. Click Save and Back when you are done and you can repeat these steps for as many courses as you need to.
PRO TIP! You may keyword search in BigSIS drop-down menus. This means you can search for a matrix much quicker by typing something like "Art" or "5" into the menu to narrow your search down.

Adding an Evaluation Matrix to a Course from the Evaluation Matrixes Table
- Go to Courses > Other > Evaluation Matrixes. Select and edit the appropriate matrix.

(Right-click and "Open image in new tab" to enlarge) - Click on Using this Evaluation Matrix and click Add Course.
- This will take you to a table of courses that will be listed based on the school's current default academic year. Make sure to filter for the correct Academic Year if necessary.
- Select the appropriate courses and click Select at the top of the screen and this will add your matrix to each of these courses.
