Based on your school's needs, you will be able to create a custom solicitation for a campaign, fund, or event and set a custom ask amount for one or more households. You will also have the ability to export and filter when creating your solicitation contact list.

How to Create a Single Solicitation List
- Start by going to People > Solicitation List OR Search for Solicitation on the left-hand menu.

- Select the New option to have a new contact list created. You can also copy another contact list by selecting the solicitation, then selecting Duplicate List.
- On the next screen, complete the fields needed for the new contact list. You can create a new campaign/fund/appeal/event by selecting the green plus button.
PRO TIP! Every solicitor will need to have an account with BigSIS to access and be assigned to the solicitation list. - Once you save, you will be directed to edit the solicitation list. On this next screen, you will be able to add the contacts from the people table to your list by going to the Add Person/Company Contact options.
PRO TIP! The list will always have the incomplete filter turned on for each list. Any contacts that have been marked as complete will not show under this filter. - When adding a contact, you can filter to have contacts not added based on household, campaigns, or solicit status.
- Hide other members of a household will not add a secondary guardian or household if one has been added to the campaign.
- Households that have 'Do Not Solicit' will not be added when selected.
- You can bulk select your contacts/company or simply select the ones you need.
How to Generate Multiple Contacts for A Solicitation List

- Start by going to People > Solicitation List OR Search for Solicitation on the left-hand menu.

- On your solicitation table, go to Other > Generate Solicitation Lists.
- Complete the fields for the list, and Save and Next.
- On the next page, select the eligible solicitors needed for the solicitation. Solicitors and contacts will be added to the list in real-time. Then go to Proceed to Select Contacts.
- When adding contacts, you can filter for specific households or roles. You can bulk select the contacts then click Add Contact(s). After you have added your contact(s), go to Proceed to Generate Lists.
- Once you have generated your list, you will see your Solicitation Summary for the list. Select Generate List to finalize the creation of the list.
PRO TIP! All contacts are divided among solicitors alphabetically. - If your lists generate successfully, you will receive this message.

How to Find if a Contact is in More than one Solicitation List
From time to time, if a contact is added to more than one list, you can filter for them below.
- On your solicitation table, go to Filters > System Filters: Contact Lists > Search Contacts.
- Complete the fields for the contact and Apply Filter. You will receive a list that the user is a part of.
How to Set Custom Amounts for Your Solicitation
- Start by going to your contact list, you can bulk select or select designated contacts to be assigned a custom ask amount.
- On the next page, enter the 'Ask Amount' and click Set Custom Ask Amount.
This custom amount will populate in the contact's profile under the Custom Suggested Ask Amount (Calculated Range) field where your solicitors can see how much to request for donations.
