Release Notes 2022-06-16

BigSIS Updates/New Features

1. Program and Academic Year have been added to all Unofficial Copies of Applications and Contracts (including previously submitted ones). Program and Academic Years will also be added to Official copies of Applications and Contracts that were submitted after May 1, 2022.
2. Customized automatic emails can now be sent out to parents whenever an Inquiry or Application is submitted. There are default email messages already set up but admins can override them from the Client Settings under the Leads Inquiries and Application and Contracts tab. The Inquiry submission email is on by default but the Application submission email is not. Both can be adjusted in Client Settings.
3. Our Text Editor has been updated throughout the site, for both Admins and Teachers. You'll see this when writing emails, writing reports, and editing instructions in MPFs to name just a few places.
4. Administrators can now email Extended Care Participants from either (a) Session > Edit Session > Participants for Session (tab) or (b) Participants Table. 
5. There is now an emoji on the Student List in the Course tab of the Teacher Portal indicating if a student has any reported Medical Conditions. This will only show if schools allow teachers to see student health info in the Portal. This setting can be turned on in Client Settings.
6. Teachers will now see a student's Matriculation Status (eg Withdrawn, Expelled) on the Write Report page in the Portal.
7. Uploaded Assignment Documents can now be deleted on the Edit page in the Teacher Portal.
8. Any values entered for a percentage Assessment Grade can now be cleared from the Student Assessment page.
9. Donations Exports have been updated to include the "Is Anonymous" column.
10. Cohorts can now be synced to ParentSquare. This feature must be toggled on in Client Settings and may require additional setup on ParentSquare. 

BigSIS Version 2 (V2) Specific Updates/New Features

1. Parents can now access their V2 Portal via the Parent Portal as long as the school has made it available. Follow the instructions in this article to Make the V2 Portal Available to Parents.

2. Admins can now issue Refunds in V2. Click here for an article explaining the steps.
3. Upcoming Payment Notifications are now sent 5 days in advance for any Online Payment that will be run in V2.
4. Successful Payment Notifications and Failed Payment Notifications automatically go out when payments are run. 

Bug Fixes

1. A bug was fixed that deleted the Cohort from an Enrollment when the Schedule was changed.
2. The Media Release widget in MPFs looked to not be saving changes made to it. This is fixed.
3. A bug related to Matrix Line Items and Matrix Groups has been fixed.
